been meaning to get speakers for my record player for a while and they were able to help me out here in no time at all! Super fast and friendly and good prices for good quality stuff. Even these stuff that I got (pictured here) is great! Thanks for all your help, Andy! I'll finally be able to play my records.

I walked into Saturday Audio Exchange for the first time today and had an amazing experience. Evan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot speak highly enough of his customer service. He was patient and very responsive. He went above and beyond for me and I will absolutely be coming back!

I've never had a better customer service experience at any other audio store, or store in general. The level of care and knowledge about the equipment and how new components will work with your system is unmatched. I've replaced every component in my system with their help, and it's never sounded better. When I had technical issues with my turn table Tony in the back was a phenomenal help and really cared about getting it working right. Hands down the only recommendation I would give to someone looking for stereo equipment in Chicago.

These guys are fantastic in their service as well as their prices and selection. I came looking to get a turntable and hi-fi system as a graduation gift for myself, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful in walking me through everything the system would need. The store has a fantastic selection of turntables, speakers, records, and receivers at a variety of prices friendly to newcomers and high-end audiophiles alike. My friend and I (who studied audio in college and work on audio hardware) were extremely impressed, particularly with the very reasonable prices on some excellent turntables they had. Joe and Tony showed us some awesome vintage pieces that the shop had rebuilt, and it was fun to geek out - it truly shows they are passionate about what they do. They were very welcoming to me as a newcomer to the hi-fi space and also did a great job of being mindful of my budget (which isn't easy given how much cool stuff they have in there). Andy walked me through the store and gave me gear recommendations from the start, and Evan helped me with invoicing, cables, etc. Many other staff members whose names I did not get were also helpful in getting everything ready for me. On top of all that, their service quite literally goes the extra mile. They even let me stay past their closing time, and Joe very kindly offered to drive me home with my new gear himself, which was a great help since I came via bus and would've had to Uber or something otherwise. The entire staff helped load everything in, and Joe was a pleasure to chat with on the drive home and he even helped me carry my things to the lobby. I remain impressed with how helpful and good-humored Saturday Audio's staff were, and I'm super glad I chose to shop local here in Chicago. My new setup sounds awesome and didn't even hurt my wallet as much as I expected, haha. If you need anything turntable or hi-fi related, absolutely go here - can't recommend them enough!

Amazing experience!! Came in looking for a new cartridge and I can’t say nothing else but I was amazed by how great costumer service is!! Joe helped me out big time! Showing me their setups, sharing their passion for Hi-Fi, it was surely an amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’ll be honest. I bought some pre-owned equipment at a great price. Speakers, amps, cables, etc. They even helped arrange delivery at a great price. When the speakers were delivered, I noticed that there was a significant blemish on the speakers that none of us had noticed before. It wasn’t their fault, it wasn’t my fault, it was what it was. But Andy was swift to make things right. I cannot tell you how satisfied I am with my speakers and gear, or the price I got them at, or how helpful the staff are, or the level of integrity that they do business with. They’ve earned a customer for life in me. I don’t know why I’d need to shop anywhere else for audio gear. If you want to be taken care of and trust that you’re not going to regret investing your hard earned money into high quality gear, go to Saturday Audio Exchange.

If you're in the market for any audio gear for your home or otherwise, this is the place. I recently brought 2 turntables here for repair. The service was friendly and exceeded my expectations. Twice I have run into the owner here who is pretty much the Gold Star example of an independent business owner. Saturday Audio Exchange carries a broad range of quality vintage and modern merchandise and treats its customers with a similar level of care: old or new, Saturday Audio has your back! I'm a business owner in Chicago as well, and a turntable enthusiast / neurotic audio person. SAE is literally steps from the L and Reckless Records -- what more could ya want?

My Father and I have had the Saturday Audio Exchange on our list to visit as we are big Monitor Audio fans. They carry a wide range of Audio equipment and brands! Everyone is very nice a respects who you are and what you have and what you're into. They have very insightful knowledge as well. They have great prices on both new and used! We were there for over 2 hours listening to all generations of Monitor Audio. I purchased a Marantz sr8012, this is a dream of mine to get for my 11.2 system, I cant thank the Saturday Audio Exhange for their assistance in helping me purchase this as they had a very fair price for it. Make this top on your list to get to! We traveled over an hour, it was so worth it we went back the following weekend. We will be back!
